Dear friends and Friskis followers,
The summer season is coming soon to a close and we are working very hard to finalise our 2017-2018 fitness schedule for the new season. We have a lot of exciting things in the burner at the moment and here are some that we believe will already be of interest to you:
–Open doors –Week-end 15-17 September: a great opportunity to try new classes, new instructors and meet our guest instructor from Sweden. It’s free for everyone, so bring your friends along.
–Business run– Thursday 21 September: A charity 5Km run organised by the Luxemburger Wort where F&S is offering the warm-up and participating in the run with members and volunteers.
–Europa Donna-Cancer Run (Broschtkribslaaf 2017): Saturday 7 of October: A 4KM charity run for the benefit of breast cancer research.
–Boot Camp version 3.0: Week-end 14-15 of October. Our third edition is on its way and will take place by the lake of Echternach once again. We hope to see as many of you as possible!
You can check the respective registration deadlines and further details on the different events on FB and our website.
Many of you are curious to see what will be offered in the new term and in which locations F&S will offer its classes. As you know, we are very dependent on the Ville of Luxembourg accepting our requests and these are only confirmed at the end of August, leaving us little time to publish the final schedules, hence we publish the schedule on a rolling basis until we have all the halls/locations confirmed.
Additionally, some of you may be aware that “EF” will be moving from Limperstberg in the coming months. We have been informed that it will be available to us until the end of year and in parallel we are actively looking for additional locations to replace this hall.
You will also be seeing some improvements on the management of our website and we are working with our technology partners to implement a mailing tool for you to be fully aware of what is happening with F&S via email. As soon as we are ready, we will invite you to register and benefit from this new tool.
Last but not least, you will also see some changes in the coming months to our corporate identity. Our logo and our traditional red colour will change to give way to a more modern and vibrant identity.
We hope this newsletter has been of interest to you and we wish you a great end of the summer.
Looking forward to seeing you in one of our classes with your friends and family,
Your F&S Board
