Some useful tips to exercise safely
- Be aware of your body:If something doesn’t feel right, stop immediately and seek medical advice. Hold off on exercise when you’re sick or feeling very fatigued.
- Stay hydrated: You can lose around one and a half litres of fluid for every hour of exercise; so drink water before, during and after a session.
- Stretch properly and calmly after the exercise: Stretching relaxes your tired and tensed muscles. Stretching in the end of the exercise fastens the recovery process and balances the body’s metabolism.
- Check your gear: Make sure your shoes and equipment fit properly and are right for the activity. Look after your equipment and check it and regularly for safety.
